Hello, my name is Like and I'm a MUN addict (crowd: Hello, Like). The last time i went for a MUN was the 18th of March. I'm still recovering from the withdrawals, but i'm hopful that i'll be able to overcome my addiction within the next week (crowd: *Applause*).

Yeah, yeah, I know. I should have moved on ages ago. But I can't. So I'll stop talking about it : ) Would someone get the license plate of the week that hit me? Still spinning from the day-to-day emotional rollercoaster. From the apprehension of an unfinished project to the calm of the postponed deadline. From the blunt boredom of not being a competitor to the sudden surprise of the return of a perfidious ponner. Up and down, in and out, etc. etc. so, approaching the weekends, i find myself resigned to apathy. With a laid-back attitude in hand and a roaring-in-the-making, its less of a wonder why my mind has resorted to such a direct self-defense mechanism. Apathy. Should name a frickin pharmaceutical product after it. The next time you are at Guardians or Watsons remember to look out for...

APATHY the new anti-whatever drug. It does... something. Who cares.

One Week Ago

One week ago, the delegates of the US, the delegates of Russia, Japan, Phillipines Indonesia, UAE, South Africa, Netherlands and so on and so forth, we all disappeared into the fog of DnD as we sang and danced off into the night. It was our last day. I was offered a clean slate on Day 1, just like the one i have in front of me now, a blank blog. There's that usual BS about how we all came here as strangers and left as the best of friends but i'll spare you the nostalgia-scented crap. I do concur that the energy was pretty intense, much more so than your usual 3-day conference, which is probably why my throat is dying right now (SCMUN Withdrawal Syndrome should be recognised as a form of depression). Whatever the case, thanks for the memories:
